Principles of action:

Acethylethionine is an essential amino acid that plays a vital role in intermediary metabolism. It is the primary donor of methyl groups for biosynthetic reactions.

Calcium pantothenate is a component of Coenzyme A and has therefore a key position in cell metabolism in fatty acid oxidation and the synthesis of long-chained fatty acids, cholesterin and steroids.

Copper is necessary for the growth, development, and maintenance of bone, connective tissue, brain, heart, and many other body organs.

Selenium is an essential tract element, which acts in the body as a component of various proteins. Of major importance is that selenium is part of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase. This enzyme, together with vitamin C is responsible for the regeneration of vitamin E, whereby a synergism between vitamin E, vitamin C and the glutathione system to protect the cell from lipidperoxidation exists.
