Beta carotene, D-L-α-Tocopherol

Indications:

• Therapy and prophylaxis of reproductive disorders (stabilizing of corpora lutea, increase of progesterone level, prophylaxis of habitual abortion, prophylaxis and therapy of endometritis).
• Protection of gravidity.
• Increase of immunity.
• Improvement of breeding.
• Particularly during the deficient Beta carotene period in cattle from November to May.

Principles of action:

The carotinoids are pigment carrier precursor of Vitamin A intrinsic effect on the fertility membrane protection and have positive influence on the immun system. The content of β-carotene in the colostrum is increased in comparison to the normal milk up to ten times in order to garantee a fast and sufficient supply of β-carotene for calves. During lactation there is a higher need of- β-carotene. It also improves quality of the embryos and survival rate of the transfered embryos.
